What this website is

Check My Card is an independently operated educational website. It publishes guides and a self-check checklist about card safety, official websites, billing information and scams. It is a source of general information — nothing more.

What it is not

The site does not check, validate, activate or process cards, does not look up balances, and does not handle payments. It is not a bank, card issuer, card network, payment processor or gift-card company, and it has no access to anyone’s accounts.

Third-party names and trademarks

Names such as Visa, Mastercard, Vanilla Gift, GiftCardMall, MyGiftCardMall, Apple Pay and Google Pay belong to their respective owners. We use them only to describe things readers may encounter. Check My Card is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.
